Varanasi: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath Became the first Chief Minister of the state to visit on Saturday Kashi Vishwanath Temple for the 100th time in the last six years
Yogi is on a two-day tour of Varanasi for the 113th time from Friday.
After assuming power in 2017, Yogi has been visiting the Kashi Vishwanath temple every 21 days on an average.
Yogi reviews and conducts ground inspections of development works in the city during each of his visits. Whereas, he has visited Lord Visheshwara 74 times from 2017 till March 2022 to seek his blessings, reported ANI.
tour of CM Yogi Priest of Kashi Vishwanath Temple Neeraj Kumar Pandey said that there is enough proof of his immense devotion towards Sanatan Dharma and Baba Vishwanath.
“Last year on September 9, when the Chief Minister visited Varanasi for the 100th time, he visited Srikashi Vishwanath Dham for the 88th time. Since then till March 18, the Chief Minister visited the temple 12 times,” ANI quoted an official release as saying. “
Yogi also became the first chief minister to visit the Kaal Bhairav temple 100 times in the last six years.
Kaal Bhairav is called ‘Kotwal of Kashi’. The Chief Minister offered prayers and performed aarti at the temple on Saturday morning. He also interacted with a boy playing ‘Damru’ outside the temple and inquired about his studies.
