New-gen Hyundai Verna launch next week: Features, powertrain, ADAS tech and more

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) is all set to launch New-gen Verna On March 21 in India, and ahead of the global debut, the company has so far teased the car multiple times on its official social media handles. The interior of the car was also leaked recently, revealing some important details about the dashboard design, upholstery among other things.
we already know that 2023 Hyundai Verna Will be equipped with a dual-screen setup that will include a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, along with a similar-sized touchscreen infotainment system. Both the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment unit will set new benchmarks in the mid-size sedan segment, which includes cars like the Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and the recently facelifted Honda City.

Hyundai has also confirmed that the new-gen otherwise Switchable type controller will be available with dual function. The rotary dial can be used to control volume and radio tuning, but at the press of a button, the button can be switched to control climate control functions. In addition, the car will get an 8-speaker Bose premium audio system and three drive modes – Eco, Normal and Sport.
The new-generation Hyundai Verna will also be equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) safety tech, which may include autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and more. The safety kit will also include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, VSM, traction control, TPMS etc.

power up 2023 or else There will be the same 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that makes 115 PS and 144 Nm as before, along with a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 160 PS of max power and 253 Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard while the latter will also get an optional 7-speed DCT.
