The Adventure Begins – My adventure begins here, I didn’t know exactly what lay ahead. I was training for the last six months, but I didn’t know what exactly I was training for. Call it a spiritual transformation or an awakening but when I landed in the valley the energy, the emotions and the spiritual contact with God started.
Dew drops at sunrise – my hike started early. I could see dewdrops reflecting in the morning sun on the grass and bushes along the trail. This simple cleaning made my awareness more acute. I felt myself vibrating in harmony with the Divine.
The Beginning of Soaring – As I neared the base of the canyon, I felt a heightened sense of awareness that I can only feel so connected to everything else. I looked back over the top of the rim and saw two eagles flying playfully overhead. In that moment I didn’t feel like I was looking at him, rather it felt like we were connected together.
Evening Shadows Caress – As the sun calmly sank beyond the horizon, I sat in my camp watching the colors change in the beautiful stones. Shadows spread across the valley wall. I could almost hear the peaceful sigh of Mother Earth as another day came to an end.
Night Falls and the Stars Shine – As I lie in my sleeping bag next to my campfire, the darkness of night gives way to a beautiful galaxy of stars above. Each star with its own unique twinkle, but our universe as a whole is playing its part to make it complete.
Serenity Falls – From the moment I rounded the corner of the trail, my heart was filled with peace and love as I witnessed one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. As soon as I took off my pack and stepped into the cool blue water, I felt like I was swimming in divine water.
Path to the Void – I was becoming more aware of the clearing that was happening in my subconscious mind. I felt as if this trip was clearing my data/memory and allowing me to return to state zero.
Peace of I – I had now reached a higher state of peace and bliss. A connection with nature and the divine source. It was unlike any feeling I’d ever experienced before. As I relentlessly trekked the path, I was aware of nothing more than the moment, absorbing everything around me and feeling it as an experience to be enjoyed only.
Divine Inspiration – I brought a small guitar with me on my hikes, and throughout the day, when I took a break, in the evening and in the morning before starting again, I would get the same inspired tune. With that inspiration, when I returned home, I decided that I would record these tunes in the studio to share with others. What you’ll hear in these 10 tracks is direct divine inspiration from my time hiking in the canyon.
Canyon Vibrations – This song is my grand finale, a celebration if you will. It covers everything from the other 9 tracks and emotionally sums up the spectrum of my experience on this musical, spiritual…adventure.
