Although the wedding rituals were performed without any hindrance, Hansika’s mother was angry with Sohail’s family. She was seen complaining about him. “I have a humble request. Kathurias are people who come very late and Motwanis are very punctual. If you come late today, you will have to pay me Rs 5 lakh for every minute of delay. I request this because the inauspicious time is between 4:30 pm to 6 pm, so I request if you can come a little early,” said Mona.
Later, Hansika describes her feeling seeing Sohail waiting at the mandap. She said it was a surreal moment. “It hit me hard and I was like ‘I’m marrying the love of my life.’ It was the best feeling. Things are getting real. I am getting married I don’t know how to explain it. And it was something different and I broke down.”
Sohail is a Mumbai-based businessman who also works as a designated partner for Hansika’s event management firm. He is an entrepreneur, and also the owner of a clothing firm, which has been exporting garments globally since 1985.
In November last year, Hansika surprised everyone by announcing her engagement to Sohail. She shared a glimpse of her dream proposal at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and got her fans excited for her wedding.
