Meerut: A day after the roof of a cold storage in UP’s Sambhal collapsed, leaving at least two dozen laborers trapped inside, the toll rose to 14 on Friday. rescue team from National Disaster Response Force And this State Disaster Response Force 11 people were pulled out from under the debris.
Sambhal District Magistrate (DM) Manish Bansal “Eleven of them were found alive, while one of them succumbed to his injuries during treatment,” he said. The bodies of the victims will be handed over to the relatives after the postmortem.”

The accident occurred while overloading potato sacks on a rack. All of that came crashing down, bringing the roof down with it. More than two dozen laborers were buried under the debris and thousands of tonnes of potato sacks.
By Friday morning, villagers claimed they heard “sounds from the accident site” and then some more laborers were pulled out of the debris.
