“Keeping in view the convenience of the Muslim employees and officers, the government permits them to come and go to office one hour before the scheduled time during Ramzan,” the circular said.
The order targeted the BJP for the Grand Alliance government headed by Nitish Kumar. “If Muslims can get relaxation in duty hours during Ramzan, why can’t Hindus be given similar facilities during Ram Navami?” State BJP President Sanjay Jaiswal Said.
